i have a 2001 katana 600 with 10,800 on it and when the bike is at idle it likes to creep up to about 3000 rpms and when i open up the throttle a little bit, she goes back down to around 1000 rpms. im BRAND new to this site so dont mess with me too much. if its not bad im not too worried about becasue im about to deploy to afghanistan in march and i can get it fixed after the deployment but if its something i can fix in two shakes of a lambs tail, please let me know. i know about cars, but not about bikes, especially carborated motors so please help. other than that little hickup the bike runs great and shes in perfect condition. and how do i adjust my throttle so i when its at idle i can just tap the throttle and it revs. again, probably all stupid question but i need to know these things so i can learn about bikes as well as cars. be gentle with your answers
