I need to find a deal on a rear tire for a 1994 gsx 600f
    The tire I have is a 170/60 zr 17

what is the stock tire number or can I use the 170/60 zr 17...it was used for dragracing and had an extend swingarm...which I removed and replaced with the stock swingarm..

You're best bet on this question would be to post in the Tire Talk forum. That said, I believe 140 was stock on the pre98s but a 150 will be your best bet.

Since the swing arm was extended, is it still the stock rim?

I think that a 150 is the biggest tire that will safely fit on the stock rear wheel.

              Pre 98 600 stock was 140/80 , 750 was 150/70 . But they have the same size rim .
Rim'll have some numbers stamped on it . Look for 'em .
