I have a 2005 Suzuki katana that died on me after I bought it from a guy. It started just fine during the test drive and a couple other times after I bought it. I only have drove it about 7 miles. I have gotten a new battery, new spark plugs, and new oil. The starter spins and spins the gears but the engine never starts... Can you help me?

Does the engine turn over? Is the run switch in the 'run' position? Do you actually have fuel in it, above 1/4 tank (gauge reading)."I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you when I called you stupid. I thought you already knew..."

Can you post a video ( youtube ) of what its doing?
Your bike has carbs, is it possible you have flooded it trying to start it?
try to start it COLD with half/ choke! try that a couple of times. if that doesn't work use no choke with full throttle to see if it wants to fire. remember only use the starter for a few seconds at a time/ With fresh gas and new plugs and a good battery it should start.

You have a starter engagement issue. Pull the starter gear cover ( left side of the engine) retorque the bolt down."I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you when I called you stupid. I thought you already knew..."
