  • Big bore B12 swapped break in time!!

As a lot of the community here knows I have a 1995 gsx750f that I have been building on over the last 2 years.

Today I put over 100 miles on it.

What's this post about you ask?

I wanted to thank you! Thanks to anyone who gave me advice.

The bike is an absolute monster, its freaking insane. The suspension modifications are so much better. I can corner a lot harder and more confident. Bumps and cracks are smooth and the suspension has a lot of feedback.

The built, bored, forged, camed, bandit 1200 engine is absolutely over kill, I've been keeping the rpm's below 6k during the break in. Even at that it pulls insanely hard with a massive amount of torque.

The new wave rotors and rebuilt calipers have a more solid feel and definitely helps stop quicker.

At this point in time, it doesn't even feel like a Katana. I absolutely love it and I'm grateful for all the help from the community here!!

                      I wish it was finished.

                      I'm still planning on

Converting the cable clutch to a hydro clutch

                      Post Katana rim swap

Upgraded oil cooler (I'm using the 750cc oil cooler right now)

                      Gsxr fork conversion

                      New swing arm stretched 2"

                      Street fighter tail conversion.

Most of the big stuff is out of the way now, it took me 2 years to get her to this point and I don't regret it. It's absolutely beautiful to ride. The handling and power that this Katana makes is unreal.

I dropped her off yesterday at the shop for the new rim to go in. I really wanted to put some more miles on it but my rear was dangerously bald and dates back to 2002 so it had to go.

I already started picking up parts for the hydro clutch

Hopefully you won't have the bad experiences with the hydro clutch like most other people
I've been wondering how your carbs are set up, because another member has 750 carbs on his 1127cc and he claims it idles really high. Maybe you can help him sort his out and enlighten the rest of us in the process.

Haven't heard anyone mention the bandit hydro being an issue, just the Kat 1100 one.

Its black and not silver, so I believe its a Kat cover.
