95 GSXR 750 in pre 600 Kat?

Looks like I might be needing a new motor for the new 89 Kat 600 project bike I picked up last week. Out of the blue I ran into a 95 GSXR 750 motor complete with carbs and a lot of other misc. stuff for a very reasonable price.
And feel like maybe I should just jump on it.
My question is will it Work?
I know there a quite a few motors that would work besides a pre 600
B12, post 600, 750s. Pre750. Bandit motors GSXR 1147. I haven't heard
anything that a can remember about the gsxr 750. anyone know for sure?
Are the 95 gxsr 750 liquid cooled? in that case I know it won't work.

In the mean Time I found out the the 95 GSXR 750 was water cooled.
So its out.
I guess I just need to make a list of engines that will work,and keep my eyes open.

I just got excited with the prospect of 750 in the 600 frame.

I'd like to find a B12 if I could, but it will probably come down to price and availability in the end. I would like to a least step up to a 750.

I have a pre 750 in a pre 600 it works out quite nice. I did re sprocket it so it would quit pulling the front wheel of the ground but all in all I am happy with it.
