I was at the 'zuki dealer over the weekend. I think he was saying this bike might pick up a fairing and be a replacement for the katana.

Put a full fairing on that and I'd definitely buy that!

I like it other than that muffler that looks like another luggage compartment it is so big!

Why does it seem to me that Suzuki do not have there shit together when it comes to designing a decent SPORT TOURING bike?

Don’t get me wrong I love my Kat in every way, but look at all the other manufacturers out there and you can see that they seem to take all riders into consideration. As for Suzuki all they try and do is palm off the Bandit S 1200 GT as a Sports Tour. IMHO it looks old and does not do it for me. Yes I’m a full faring junky and love to take my other half with me where ever I go. Kawasaki seem to know what it takes to design a good looking bike, not to mention Yamaha with there FJR and Honda with the Pan and VFR, just to mention a few. COME ON SUZUKI GET IT TOGETHER!!!!

                  Probably right on both counts.
                  It's probably my drool.
It's probably going to be my next bike (unless Suzuki gets off it's butt with that stratosphere engine).

Wow, that Kawi has tire pressure monitoring sensors , an electronic keypass anti-theft , and an electric windscreen adjuster .
Wish the Kat had some of that .

I've been following the long term test of the gsr600 in superbike and man do I love that bike. Why do we get the SV650 when they have that naked bike in England? I just isn't fair

The Kat 1100's had the windshield thing at one point.

Sweet! I've been eyeing a big bike lately - just dreamin' cause there's no money for funny right now. But... someday.
