Take the seat off, and snap some good pics of the bottom of the seat, and the bike. Might be something like missing rubber stoppers (at either location)...

My seat was always very tight (to the point one of the catches on the seat has deformed now).

Looks good. Decals, all you need is decals. That will take it back to stock and look really good.

I'm thinking of only a "S" for each side of the tank, I like simple.

Here are both stock seats I have, should be able to save it and zoom in if you need too.

Back of the seats look fine. Do you have the rubber stoppers like on the seat, only right at the battery box on the frame of the bike?

Nope, nothing but the metal rings. You have a picture?

Couple of pics that were not meants to capture what I was talking about, so keep that in mind...

First pic, far lower right hand side. By the battery, you can see one of the rubber stoppers (looks just like the ones on the seat).

Different angle, pretty dark up in that corner, but there are 2 stoppers, one on each side of the batter closer to the tank.

If those are missing, the pan might be bending just enough to cause the end to pop up on you.

                    krey

Nother pic, much easier to see them...

Pretty sure they are just a couple of bucks each at the dealer...
