looking to one of a kind mods any ideals. I have the know how and the tools just looking for all kinds of ideals. I would like to have a good ideal what I'm going to end up with before I start. I hate going back and doing sh&t over.

No offence to Jim.. (that fairing work is super!)
But IMO BearKat and Watari have set the bar for
making a Katana into something truely one of a
kind..
I mean Waltari could make millions selling his
formula for invisable mid pipe material to the
Government!!
I take the view that if you want your Katana to be one of a kind.. People shouldn't right away know it is a Katana.. They have to look at it close to see..
"ahh look that tail light" or " that is a Kat tank and frame".. Bling and paint are just that..

Everyone has their own vision I guess. For me I didn't want a RFGixxerZKat, I wanted a Katana that was unlike any other in the world, not a Katana that nobody would know was a Katana. Still 90% of the people who see it don't know what it is and of those who know it's a Kat most are still stumped and amazed. It's taken over 2 years to get it to this point and it's not done yet. The entire bike is a mixture of pre and post 98 Kat parts. Hardly bling and paint.I take the view that if you want your Katana to be one of a kind.. People shouldn't right away know it is a Katana.. I realize all the hard work that was involved in you Kat..
I would never put it in the "paint and bling" catagory..
I didn't mean to imply that..
And IMO yes, one of a kind is one of a kind.
I guess I have a strong opinion of what makes something one-of-a-kind..
My taste is my taste.. I won't appologise for it but I don't want to be offensive either..
And that is how it should be.. Making your vision your reality..Everyone has their own vision I guess. For me I didn't want a RFGixxerZKat, I wanted a Katana that was unlike any other in the world, not a Katana that nobody would know was a Katana.
Me? I never wanted a Kat... I didn't really want a Gixxer either..
I did know that no matter what I bought it would never be stock..
I also knew that the Kat was a super bargin (in general and mine in
particular)..
