tail light mod

I have a '99 750 Kat and want the look of the newer Kats. I am changing the rear tail fairings to the newer style. I have found the taillight pretty cheap on Ebay. But the problem is that is from a Hayabusa. I was told they are the same. I want to make sure before purchase. And also are the brackets the same. I appreciate any and all help.

Mine is a 98 and I also did the rear tail change.
Yes the Busa light is the same.
