Made some progress this weekend

I only had a 2 days to play with the Kat before going back out to Vancouver. So of course I rode it a ton lol, plus I was able to start experimenting with painting it (more to work out my technique). I plan on going flat black from a rattle can and so far I am very impressed on how it came out.


I experimented with this piece cuz the tabs on the back had broken off and I just bought a new one. After I saw this came out I went ahead and started painting my new rear fairings off an 06 and its looking good so far.

I also got to put on my wind screen, which should look pretty good with the flat black bike


I originally planned on painting it this winter, but now its looking like I will be painting pieces one by one and putting them on as I go lol.

rattle can paint

watch the rattle can paint bro - if you spill even a drop of gas on the duplicolor type paints it will turn into a nice gooey mess. Been there done that. You may want to go with a high temp flat black engine pain or epoxy.
