  • My Fighter - A work in progress...

So... I got this bike about 1 1/2 years ago. I paid $850 for it because the previous owner layed it down, blew a head gasket, and lost the key. It sat for 2 years in the weather (in rainy Washington!). It had a rough life. Right after I got it, I sent it down to Portland, OR to Matthew Castor (MotoFORM) as a loaner for his GP style body kit project (still waiting for the final product, but it's worth the wait!). I brought it back last summer because I sold my truck, and missed riding.

Well, due to the really dumb weather we're having and a real dill-hole in a minivan, I low-sided on the freeway. When I started my commute home, it was raining, and 20 min. later it was snowing and the freeway was icing over.

I way really ****ed. I broke my clutch lever, left rearset, and tore the side of the motor up. So, I decided to make it into a fighter.

I lowered my clipons, built a new headlight bracket, added some HID's, slipped an rc51 tail on, and added an 06 ninja zx6-r tail light and license plate bracket. I'll be putting on the MotoFORM body when it's ready, but for the time being, this is what I've got:
