Drain plug is 23Nm dont know about oil coolant lines but you shouldn't need to undo them

Drain plug is 16.5 lb-ft. A Fumoto Drain valve is a wise upgrade

Which oil lines are you talking about (rear of the valve cover, upper; front of the oil pan, lower; oil cooler connection, top of oil cooler)?

I'm BETTING he took of the cooler lines at the oil pan . Those are pretty low-torque items , too .

            Oil drain plug = 16.5 lb-ft
            Oil cooler mounting bolt = 7 lb-ft

have pages of torque specs here, let me know if you want it scanned.

I can see the stripped oil pan now!

Get that Fumoto and save yourself some heartache!

What did you use to grind the lip down on the oil pan? Did you remove the oil pan?

I used a dremel, and when I did it, I already had the oil pan off to mount an oil temp sender -- but it could have been done on the bike almost as readily (use eye-protection!). I used Dremel item #456 cut-off wheels to cut it away.
