Cleaning carbs

Has anybody had good results cleaning their carbs in an ultrasonic cleaner?
Anything I should watch out for before putting them in the cleaner?
And is there a way to mark the throttle position sensor so I can put it back in the same position?

I have one. Works great for the carb from my dirtbike and also for brake calipers.

90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.
