  • 1997 GSXR 600 parts onto 1996 GSX600F

Hello, I am looking at a 1997 GSXR bike to possibly use the fork, rear shock, exhaust, rear swingarm, both wheels & maybe the brakes for my '96 katana 600. I believe the triple trees are different diameters but can I swap the shocks over and will the rest of these parts transfer?
    Thanks

As far as I know none of those are direct bolt on swaps. I've heard of peeps swapping most of those over after some modification, but the swing arm seems to be the hardest.

a 1997 GSXR and 1996 GSXF are about as different as motorcycles can get. About the only thing they have in common are two wheels driven by a chain and they are made by Suzuki.

It's is possible to get them to fit, at a major cost..... Trust me....just not worth it.
