Vista Cruise-Control

I ordered the vista cruise unit. Do I need to cut away my grips to make it fit next to the switch housing? Kind of looks like i need to. If someone who's installed this type of cruise could let me know what i need to do that would be great.

I haven't installed a Vista on the Kat (I have a throttlemeister on there instead), but on other bikes I didn't have to cut anything on the grips. Just bolt on the Vista and adjust tension, then good-to-go.

Thanks cyberpoet. It looks like some mods are going to be needed. Does anyone have pics of what it should look like done??? That is the Vista on a 98+ Kat.
