clutch perch problem

Hi everyone I got a 95 Suzuki gsx600f katana the clutch cable adjuster
is stripped out I bought another one but its a universal one the clutch safety switch is on the
bottom of my original one but the universal one has post on the side of it
so my question is can I cut the wires n put wire connecters on the end of my wires that
Will fit the posts on my universal clutch perch to make it work

Yup, I would solder them on then heat shrink tubing over the solder/terminal.
