Good day guys,its been a really loooooooooooooooooooong time since ive been on this group,have been quite busy. Well you all know that purple kat of mine. I thought it was the striker but I did some research. Apparently it is not. Back in the 80's the first owner of the bike wanted the kat striker,but he could not import it yet due to government crap. He then bought a normal kat and converted it into the 1100 'striker' hence the wire wheels and mikuni carbs. I had a look at the papers and saw something interesting. The vin starts as follow GS110X10- . I heard about a katana 1100 'special',i just want to know am I the lucky owner of this 'special' model or not? and do you guys have some more details about this special kat?
