What type of mods did it take...I like that look and thinking of getting a set..Good judgement comes from experience, and often experience comes from Bad Judgement :smt084

The base of the mirrors are rectangular and won't sit flush or line up with the bolt holes. Also the base of the mirrors are slotted so u can move the bolts up and down to line up with the bolt holes, but this means the head of the bolt that comes with the mirrors fits into the slot and has a nut to tighten up. So i had to drill out the stock mirror holes so the bolt would go through and i could get the nut on the back. I also used a band saw (but a grider or sander would work) to round and cut some of the base so that it would fit into the fairing and line up with the stock mirror holes.
Hope that explains it
a lot easier to do than explain it
