  • 1997 Katana 750 Dual Exhaust

    Gents,

If I were looking to upgrade my exhaust system, what recommendations would you all solicit on the following:

    1) Keeping a dual exhaust vs. going to a single (If applicable).

    2) Quality systems that have a good standing with the guys (And girls) that use them. Aka. the chuckleheads in this room, self included someday...hopefully.

2a) What modifications beyond the nuts and bolts are required for their installation?

    3) Systems to avoid.

    Thanks, the FNG.

You didn't mention if price is a concern.

Yes, the financial supply is finite. Let's pretend I am the average Joe suburban father of one. Oh, wait that's like real life...

I you want to keep the duel look, the only option is to cut off the OEM cans and have some Cobra F1 slip ons welded on to your header.

Is there a benefit by changing to a single exhaust or does by virue that it is a duel allow for greater performance? Nix logic seems to say that as long if there is an X pipe the dual would be the better way to go .

the exhaust flow is basically the same a duel does not flow better then a single.
