  • Gsxr carbs

Just realized that I have a nice set of carbs from a 93 gsxr1100, I bought them a few years ago for my gsx1100g but they didn't fit. They are jetted stage 1 with k&n. Does anyone know if they'd fit my 92 750 Kat? Not sure I'd use them but it would be nice to know if they fit? Thanks.

They sure won't. A Katana is oil cooled. A 1993 GSXR 1100 is water cooled.

I wouldn't have thought that cooling would make a difference at the carbs but with interior plumbing considered, it could make the gixxer mill wider which could effect the spacing, that explains why it wouldn't fit my gsx1100g which shares the air/oil cooling of the Kat and the Bandit. Thanks, maybe I can get rid of em on Craigslist?

Spacing is different, the water cooled motors have the jugs closer together.

Yeah, stick them on CL or better yet, put them up on ebay. CL is local, ebay is worldwide.

I've actually had non-scammers hit a craigslist ad for stuff.

I had a set of 1st gen bandit carbs i just wanted rid of and listed them on ebay.... no hits. Guy from KC found them on a tempest search and paid to have me ship them.
