Paint Updates

I went Flat Black last winter and have LOVED it. This week I aadded some 'subdued' checked flag graphics to make it a little more mine. I had a couple of people stop and comment while I was taaking these pix!!!

I went with Plastikote Flat Black and Gloss Black. The finish is AWESOME!!!!

So the black is a actual paint and not a primer? And where do you buy the plastikote brand at? I may have to check that out. Its rattle can, isn't it?

Yep, it's rattle-can Lou.
I got the paint at the local automotive store for $3.89 a can. I used 10 cans of Flat and 4 cans of Gloss.

Dude that is KILLER! Now you dont have to worry about waxing it anymore!! :mrgreen: How did you pull off the checkerboard pattern?? Masking tape?

2 inch masking tape and LOTS and LOTS of prep work.
