  • What is wrong?

I have a 2004 600 cc Katana, yesterday i changed the oil and cleaned the air filter (the previous owner installed mini pods instead of the original airbox) they were dirty as hell! I used repsol synthetic 10W40, today i took her for a ride, when she reached 6000-7000 RPM something weird happens, she starts to choke, it didnt happened before, does anyone knows what is wrong?. Thanks for the help.

kinda sounds like the issues i had some what....Does it feel like it's running out of gas? If so...check the fuel filter, if the air filters were as dirty as you say i wouldn't be surprised if the original fuel filter is still in there....(and i know your thinking it's a 2004) but mine was a 2005 (with 14k miles and it was clogged)

I will check that today, i forgot to tell you, minipods are K&N, i heard they were the worse thing you can do to your kat. Thanks again for the info.
