97 750 katana forks i want to upgrade forks any suggestions maybe a newer year gsxf

I recently had my bikes forks damaged while it was parked I'm goin to replace but id like to upgrade to newer forks does anyone know what models would be compatable with my 97 katana

Of course any pre-98 forks will be a direct slide in fit with minimal cost and work to get in. I have been searching around for any parts on E-bay from the new GSX650F and have yet to find any. I guess there haven't been enough of them wrecked yet to be out on E-bay. If you mean the post 98 Katanas, you might be able to work with forks up to 02. I know they changed up the front wheel in 03 and I believe we have figured out that it also changed the width of the forks when they did it. However, I have never worked on or ridden a post 98 so I can't say for sure. Maybe someone else will provide a little more detailed assistance.
