Im pretty sure the 96 Katana master cylinder is the same...

Good point, don't know...I know the bore size is the same for several models.

Hey guys,

I located one in great condition after much looking for one myself. I know of someone who has one and can find out how much he wants for it, I talked with him tonight. It was from someone wanting to trade for something else, it had round head screws on the top cover and looked a bit rough. Needs a rebuild I would think for sure.

Another fellow on thegsresources.com site has one in good shape for 125 plus shipping. It is listed in the parts wanted thread titled Wanted master cylinder 82 Katana. If you cant find it message me and I will get you his email.

The info on the 96 compatibility was news to me. I checked one out and it looks like it would take the newer style levers. The spacing looked different to me as far as the width for levers. Other than that it looks the same.
