  • 01' B12 rear monoshock + GSX750f?

Hey guys the guy over the road to me just happens to have a b12 rear shock that is brand new, the donor is an 01 B12, will it be a straight fit for my 89 GSX750?

Ideally anyone with experience would be helpful

Oh and he is giving it me for only 20 quid

It can be made to work.

I would strongly suggest you have it rebuilt or at least shim the shaft to shorten it slightly.

The issue would be the total extension length puts the shock in contact with the cushion. Shimming the shaft prevents that.

Un-shimmed, it will raise the tail of the bike by 2".
