R&R called today the Kat is ready..$565.00 bucks later!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHH!!carb sinc,valves adjusted,new chain and sprockets,all fluids changed,head bearings reset,pretty much front to rear,,DONE.Talked to the man he said its running like a raped ape,,,cant wait to pick it up in the AM....

Remember to ride it carefully when you first get on -- shop grease on the tires unintenionally (greasy hands), new configuration (different ways of building power unexpectedly), and time out of the saddle... But no reason not to enjoy it

I bought the bike new in 1993 and pretty much have done all the work myself since except for carb sincs and valve adjustments every 6000. this year since I'm working on my other bike I figured I'd have the Kat done from front to back all the way around. Noworries on my part. Its been a great bike and at this point dont want another,so I think the money spent is most definetly in need and worth it...It runs real nice and couldnt tell if it ran like a raped ape because it started to F$ckin snow on the ride home..Mother F! well you know..Just rememeber if your lucky like me the last time I spent over 500 bucks on the bike was in 1993 when I bought it and rode it home minus tires of course,take care of yours its worth it...Originally posted by SweetLouDamn that sounds like a lot of money.
