        Colin.
Ive used Biltema oil on and off for some time. the post 600 definately likes the Motul 5100 and 7100 better than the Biltema. Very smooth gear changing

        • Hi John, and I can't wait to see how you get on

Mo, thanks for the info, I'm currently running Biltema full synthetic but looks like this is a big mistake live and learn eh..

            • Another clutch dragger here, have filed the inner clutch hub smooth as there were some grooves in them from the plates but I wont hold my breath as to if it stops the drag. I did manage to get a hydraulic lock in the system when I bled it and on start up had no drag, slipped it into 1st gear so far so good, let the clutch out and nothing doh the hydraulic lock was holding the clutch off after cracking open the bleed screw to relieve the pressure it was back to normal, normal being drag. was considering a small ball bearing of slightly longer push rod maybe.

              • I don't think that extending the length of the pushrod will help, to my mind it'll just push the piston a little further back into the slave cylinder...
The problem seems to be "stiction" between the clutch plates. Maybe a master cylinder from another bike with a larger piston to displace more hydraulic oil and push the pushrod a little further might be the answer we're looking for

                • My clutch cylinder is from a zxr1100 kwak not sure of the displacement though, stock slaves are same as hayabusas will have to check the busas master size

                  • Just a thought, I wonder if the original lever gives the full amount of movement of the piston... maybe a small addition to the contact area of the lever might give a little more throw and hence displacement ? guess what I'm going to look into tonight
