  • Battery box fitment.

    I'm getting ready to fire up the project and I was about to rough in the electricals. I noticed that the bottom of the battery box doesn't seem to be too far above the swingarm if it is bolted directly to the frame. It looks like it should be raised up a couple of inches to allow swingarm clearance. As I didn't dissassemble the bike and as the manuals don't show it I'm not sure about this.

    Could anyone tell me or send me a pic to show how it should be located?

    I'd much appreciate it.

    Cheers,

    It does sit pretty close to the swingarm, but not close enough that there could ever be contact under normal suspension travel - here's a couple of shots that night help;

      Thank you so much. that is exactly what I needed to see. It still looks real close to the swingarm though doesn't it.

      I appreciate the help.
