    Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I know I've had some questions recently on how to weld plastic with a soldering iron. I found this on you tube. Here is the link.       My .02 is to be EXTRA CAREFUL if you aren't going to use an iron with programmable temperature. It will be really tempting to leave the iron in one place too long, which can cause the plastic to burn instead of melt.

          ive fixed a few random plastic things for cars like that, including repairing a vacuum caniser that got blwon apart on an F-150
