Hey all...
Been without a bike since job (and bike) loss in '14. Gainfully employed for a year now and decided to pull the trigger on a ride that ive always wanted, the katana.
It's an 05 600, blue and white. Only 10 k on the bike but previous owner let it get low on oil, and locked it up (at 5mph luckily).
Picked it up for $500, worst case I can pick up a salvage yard motor for $350. Gonna pull it apart, see if I can get lucky with a crank and bearings..
Preve bikes...06 650 ninja, 99 r6 streetfighter (insurance auction), and a lil klx250sf
Hope to share pics of the build ..and will be looking around here for ideas and inspiration.
