Hi guys!
Young-Kat. Like my name implies, I'm fairly young. 20 today, 21 in a couple weeks it hehe.
I bought a 1989 Katana 600 about 4 months ago and have been loving the ride ever since.
But, looking deeper into it, the previous owners didn't take much care of it and looks like it was hit on the front.. bent right handle bar, handlebars dont line up with the front wheel, thr headlight assembly was bent a bit downward, causing the plastics to not match up
Other than that she runs like a champ. Went through a carb clean, valve adjustment, electrical overhaul, and maintenance; oil and filter change, air filter clean, chain clean and lube. The works.
Right now she's pretty much naked with the exception of the windscreen and the rear plastics. The main plastics are going to go through a possible repair and repaint. She needs a lot of work done but i might not be the one to fix her up %100 being that im still in school and not making alot money. But in the time being I hope to learn alot from you guys! Hehe
