on my 94 katana i have the teal suzuki sticker on the tank, but it seems to be clear coated over. is there any easy way to remove the sticker with our ruining the paint job?

tough to say if its cleared over. once you break the coat to remove a sticker then you open yourself up for further delamination of the clear coat after you get the stickers off.to quoate yoda" difficult to see ,,,future"

o didnt quite read that right yea if its cleared over(as in the clear coat that covers the paint is over the sticker as well) forget it you'll need to repaint otherwise it will look like crap after you get it off

Hair dryer, don't get it too hot or your stickers will come off in a bunch of pieces. If you get it right you should be able to get them off in a couple pieces. Then use the goo gone to remove the sticky residue.

No one is reading the first post. That's okay.

If you wanted to remove that sticker, you'd need to use something to cut it out of the clearcoat like a razor blade it won't be fast and it won't be easy.

You'll probably want to sand the tank down and re-coat with clear after though because otherwise the finish has been comprised and a fuel spill may cause the paint to come off.
