Honda will hire the best talent, at the lowest cost possible to them. Rossi is the GOAT but, after he left Honda for Yamaha, I don't think they would bring him back at any price. Marquez is the likely candidate for the seat IF Stoner quits. It is a contract year for him anyway, could this just be part of the negotiation process? Time will tell...Comment

Don´t think so to be honest. He just had enough of it and probably isn´t worth while taking the risk any longer for him. Rossi going back seems a little unlikely also to me.Comment

I was also wondering about Dovi, but perhaps doubtful after the way he left last year.

He won't ride a bike that isn't competitive. They get new engines in Laguna so we'll know then if they will be headed in the right direction throughout this year. With the yamahas of Dovi and Cal consistently performing better than every Ducati on the grid, those guys have a long way to go. Or maybe Yamaha has a more consistent package between factory and satellite teams.
I really don't think Repsol will put two Spaniards together on their team... So count Lorenzo out. Unless it's a contract year for Dani too, then Jorge may go there while Rossi takes his M1 back alongside Cal or Dovisioso.
Or Yamaha may just bring both of the Tech3 guys up and say screw it, we already have the talent in house, who needs the popular guys(even though the popular guys sell bikes at the dealerships)...
Who knows really, but I'll be tuned in throughout the season to find out.Comment
