But i was wondering if i could run the carbs off my of 95 gsxr 750 engine while i work on the other ones or will they not bolt up, jet sized wrong, or any other problems that i may have doing this. any advice would be great

If it is anything like my 1100, i was thinking of doing the same, and putting 95 gsxr carbs, but the bores are further apart, so +1 on the different boots...

So, without known jetting values you might get them to fit.... but it could be a heck of a problem to get them to run correctly (in general).
Specifically if they are the carbs from the oil cooled motor, it should work okay.-Steve
