  • Clutch advise.

Hey so I have a 1990 katana, and the clutch has a lot of play. For example if I'm in first gear and I start to let the clutch out the bike won't start moving until I have let it about 3/4 of the way. Is there a way to tighten it up and have the bike pull sooner? I'm a total noob anything helps thanks guys!

Its pretty simple. on the clutch lever itself there is the clutch cable; you should see an adjustment just like a bicycle brake cable. try twisting out the inner bolt far enough until the clutch feels tighter then thread in the locking nut. keep in mind you wan about 4-5mm of play on the clutch lever anything less and you could risk burning up the clutch to quick.
