Hello Suzukians
Old cuss here still loving motorcycles. I have had a bunch of them. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Harley, Kawasaki. Standards from the past, Sportbikes, Cruisers, Sport Tour. I can't say I didn't like any of them.
I was looking for a more modern suspension for my XS when I came across this 88 Katana 1100. When I went to look at it I noticed it had not run in some time but it was unmolested and never down. I have a cycle shop and tools at my place so 200 and it was mine. You know what's next. I did do a substantial amount of research ahead of time and this looks like a great project.
So to do it a guy needs a good forum and here I am.
I also have 5 old VW bugs, Ford Ranchero, older Ford F150 short box 4x4, and a Dodge W250 4x4. Building a second shop next to my converted barn shop. I think I am sick in the head.
I live in WA state and work at the Hanford Nuclear Site.
I am exited to start on the Kat, already have removed the plastic. Time for close inspection. I will feed on all the info gathered here and ask questions.
