float height effect idle?

just made floats run more rich and started to do a carb sync but can rich floats keep the bike's idle at 3000 rpm?

float heights defiantly affect your idle. What gave you the idea that setting the floats rich was a good ider?

also make sure you check your cables, may be in a bind or out of adjustment. Just a thought!

Normally a idle of 3000 with the engine cold is a vacuum leak; if you're getting that on return-to-idle, that's a different story and can be blocked smaller passages or overly tight throttle cables or vacuum diaphragms in the carbs that aren't falling properly.
