I think I keep five for the Kat all-together... Because misplacement happens far too easily.

Has anyone ever locked the key in underneath the seat??? I've done this twice & lucky that I have a spare.

lemme guess - the solution to locking the key under the seat (assuming you dont have a spare with you) is to take off the fender?

Nope... not removing the fender. Can't get the fender off with the seat on. You have to use a screwdriver, lift the seat slightly and activate the latch with the screwdriver.
