I got a quote for $75 from a leather shop to attach a supplied zip to a jacket. Friend of my in-laws who is an at-home seamstress said that she would do it for a third of that. I just have to wait for the REALLY bad riding weather to leave the stuff with her for a few days. My Alpinestars pants came with the other half of the zip; Tourmasters might, but YKKs are pretty standard and easy to find (fabric stores--only mildy ghey...).

Well , the lat couple of jackets AND pants I bought each came with an extra zipper you could sew to the other piece of gear to make them zip together . If it comes to it , you could always just get a zipper set and have them put on . Nice score , BTW .
