Hello..... that was quick.
I just bought a nice clean 2003 Kat with just over 30,000km on the clock. I bought this after going bike-less for a couple years (streetbike-less I should say since after I sold my last bike, a KLR 650, I did buy a YZ 250). I always wanted a sportbike but some of the more radical seating positions sort of turned me off and the Kat seems like a decent compromise. I nearly had financing signed off on a new R3 and also had a serious look at a new CBR500 but then ran across a deal on this Katana that I couldn't pass up. I swore off street bikes after a few close calls with distracted drivers but one of the things on my "bucket list" was to take a sportbike on a trip to a Canadian Superbike race. So this led me to looking yet again at street bikes and then this Katana. It should work as a sport tourer for me just fine..... at least for now. Shubie, here I come!
Thx for reading,
Jeff
