  • Smoked Taillight?!

Does anyone know where to find a smoked(or tinted) version of the rear taillight for a 98 Kat?I can't find anything but the clear version....If not,can you just cut and shape window tint instead? Thanks!!

    VHT nightshades
its a transparent black spray paint that lets the light shine through. I blacked out my signal lights with it.

I did the same; I bought the clear rear tail light and sprayed it with a spray paint you get in the model shops called "SMOKE".
Apply a few coats at a time till you get the desired tint.

Where can you buy this tinted spray painted? How much does it run you?

One word of advice with the VHT nightshades is to make sure you spray some clear over them when you're done. I did my car's tails with nightshades a few years ago and the paint started to fade and chip really bad after a few months of sun and rain exposure.

You can find the VHT paint at Autozone type stores...
Talk about droppin your bike.... How about droppin it off the trailer bringing it home from the dealer with 1 mile on it.. Yep that's me...
