Changing 98 kat tail fairing (clown nose) to a 2004 kat tail

are not they the same design meaning holes will line up etc? and if they are, im also told ill have to change wireing or somthing due to the diffrence between the two diffrent models what is it that ill have to change besides the light assembly?,wireing? seat? or will this be a smooth transition? is there somthing ill need to know important before i do this? let me know fellas ive been at this for some time wanting to do it i hate that clown nose,what was suz thinking when they did this. i got a deal brewing o ebay at a steal for this tail from a 2004 katana 600 ! thanks Maestro
