so i haven't start my bike in like about a month...maybe 5 weeks... so today i fired it up. i was impressed because i bought the battery off the shelf in the spring and just slapped it in the bike. it has not seen a charger since i got it. pulled the choke, pulled in on the clutch...hit the starter, and vroom. fired up like nobody's business.

i know...i know...so what!

after sitting for 2 1/2 weeks...my battery was dead(not enough to turn it over)..but I have an alarm on it.

Mine does that . It just doesn't always RUN so great after I get it started .

Tribute the beastly reliable bike that the Kat is !! Mine sat for about 2.5 weeks during torrential down pours and I started it up...vrooom, no probs..
