What is the difference in the workshop manual and the factory repair manual?

Workshop manual? I didn't know that Suzuki makes a "Workshop" manual, so the answer is probably just that -- it's aftermarket, written by someone else. Aftermarket manuals will have primarily pictures (as verses to drawings), and if it's published by a British firm (as most are), it may have British-specific variations consider as "standard" (such country variations are rare, but do occassionally crop up).Originally posted by Trigger
The Suzuki manual is the one they produce for Suzuki authorized dealers and you can buy for yourself. It's the bible and has every bit of information you can want, and highly correct technical drawings, but no pictures.

5. SUZUKI GSX GSX600F GSX750 GSX750F service manual
Which one should I get, they all cover my year '99, but different prices. I just want to fix my bike not start a book store crusade on Suzuki's.

You can not go wrong buying the Suzuki Official Manual. Like cyber said the other aftermarket manuals aren't always correct nor do they have all the info you will want for your bike.TDA Racing/Motorsports
