1990 to 1997 exhaust?

Hey I have a 97 Kat 600 with duals on it and I want to get me a slip on. But I dont want to buy 2 of them. So I found this wrecked 1990 kat 600 which has a 4 in 1 exhaust on it. Will I be able to use the 1990 full exhaust on my 1997 or no? and if so buying a used exhaust other than alot of rust what should I look for?

it'll work, The 90 with a 4-1 full system, it'll work for any 88-97
