hi guys , well after replacing the cdi box and cleaning the wiring connections the bike started right up and ran great . i even shut it down and restarted it a few times to make sure all was ok . it started each time like new . so just for fun i unhooked the battery and unplugged the new cdi box and hooked up the old one, hooked up battery and it started the same . so it was'nt the cdi box . oh well at least it runs great again . continue cleaning up,tools and go to start bike and put it away and no spark again . tried the other box and still no spark . my guess is something is getting hot and not working as it should . i rechecked batt voltage , power at cdi , power at coils and signal generator resistance . i'm at a lost . coils check out good too . how can one minute get me a perfect start then 20 minutes later with nothing done to the bike i get no spark ??
