Which ones are different and where did you verify this? I need to update my database.

And yeah that's my 1979 CX500D. She was a fantastic machine. Traded her for my GS...which has been a little lackluster in comparison...

GSF and GSXR offsets vary though the diameter and bolt patters are the same. Verified by asking a bloke with both to measure them and let me know. Also double checked with oldskoolsuzuki.info and they said the same. It's not a match.
On that note: RF matches the GSR, so that won't line up with the GSXR either.
All the GSXRs from 88 to 95 models have matching brake discs

I ended up getting some '94 750 clipons on the basis that they were £7.50 for the pair and I can always swap them for something else later on, but I want to have this part of the project moving on to fitting soonish.

Been assembling the bits in the kitchen and it's definitely coming together.. While I wait for a set of decent brake discs to appear on ebay, I'm thinking it might be worth overhauling the callipers, and maybe painting them up while doing so.

Thanks for the pics, I'm really liking how you've done the dashboard!

How have you bolted on the mudguard? ..For some strange reason I've found my front mount on the fork is a cm or so lower than the guard itself. I'm planning on using filler, re-drilling and extending the bracket, but am I missing something little piece before I start all that?!

Wonder why they don't match up perfectly...

That fog light mudguard is ingenious! I want it!

If you're talking about the front mounting point, the fender isn't supposed to be bolted directly into that threaded hole. There's a small bracket which goes in there and which the fender bolts on to. Hope that makes sense without any pictures.

Aha! That's where I've been going wrong then, I've been missing a piece... Damn now I have to go hunting again.

Edit: Found the piece on the microfiche. What an odd way of doing it. I might just go ahead and make it so I can mount the mudguard directly if this proves too hard a piece to find.
