Great site! I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I purchased my first katana way back in 1984. It's a 1983 GS1100SD. I now also own two 1983 GS750SDs. One is complete and the second 750 is in the restoration process. I started by completely disassembling, power coating the frame and any black piece on the frame(fork sliders, battery box, fairing brackets, kick stand, center stand, etc) Unfortunately with the purchase of a fixer upper house, the project has been on hold. I hope to restart working on it soon.

G'day from Oz.
I'm building a house myself but I still find time to work (meditate) on the Kat. It's how I zone out of all of the c%^p that the day sucks out of me.
Great to have you with us and don't kill yourself with the fixer upper. I nearly did and its not worth it.
All the best,
Scott.
