  • chain & sprockets changed

replaced the sprockets last night. went from 15/45 to 15/47. had a shop do the chain this morning. not a huge change, but noticeable. did notice the speedo is WAY off now, at least 10 mph @ cruising speeds. the old chain was completely shot. bike feels much smoother and is much quieter.

Need to come over and let me take it for a spin again. I can give you my thoughts. I bet once we go out on the backroads you will notice the change alot more.

what is your speedo running off of? mine is off the front wheel, so no matter how much you play with the gearing, the speedo remains constant. am I to assume your model of kat runs off the tranny?
I don't have a short temper. I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
