  • passenger footpeg to front footpeg conversion

    discovered this today...

when i crashed my front left footpeg broke at the pivot, but everything else was good. i noticed, while comparing the two footpegs, a slight discoloration in the metal of the rear footpeg on the center pivot!

suzuki lists the two pegs as different part numbers, but

43520-19C22 is the front peg. It is actually a combination of the peg and a bracket with an arm that the spring connects to. The bracket goes through the center of the peg. You can punch out the bracket (pretty easy) and you have a generic left footpeg. (you need to salvage the arm bracket if you need to transfer the back footpeg to the front)

43710-08F00 is the rear footpeg. The center of the pivot of the peg contains a little cylinder that you can punch out if you can put enough force on it (i took a hammer and a punch tool to it). Pop it out, and you have a generic left footpeg! (You will need to salvage the tube to transfer a front footpeg back)
